That is the official definition of the olympic games. So they are a very important part of keeping peace between countries.
This year the 2020 Olympic games will be held in Tokyo,Japan. The olympic games are held every two years in different place in different places in the world. Usain Bolt first competed in the 2004 Olympic games in
2017.
At the end of the day all of the athletes will compete to come in first, second, or third place of their respetive sports in order to win a bronze, silver, or gold medal.
